There was a small culture shock when I first came to America many years ago. That was in the purchasing of Eggs. Eggs?! you might be saying right now. Yes, I know you might scratch your head on something as small like an Egg, but in China we don't buy eggs by the dozen, or by 18 or 24 count containers. We purchase eggs individually and pay for them by weight. There are a lot of things in China we just buy by weight where as in America we have to buy them by count. Other such examples include Watermelons, or Cantaloupes. Eggs especially surprised me because sometimes you just need one or two eggs for a few days, and a dozen might seem like too much. I know that some super markets and grocery stores have started offering eggs in six to a package, but it still just isn't the same. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Donate: http://bit.ly/Wg4FzD Website: http://bit.ly/Wg4F2N 5 Minute Chinese : S08E07 http://bit.ly/1qNQoHe
